Sorry I was just trying to give you some constructive criticism, look at your past posts, the subjects are at strange angles and sometimes even go out of the visible frame, thought it might be something to consider in the future when taking a shot.

I went out at 3am two nights ago and took about 200 photographs of the sun rising, hoping to string them together soon and create a little movie of that and similar clips. I did have a video camera with me but there was much more control in the images taken with the camera. I will post here when I have something finished.

some local show, slight photoshop manipulation

we were outside the city found some random people and i took a daring shot..

slight photoshop manipulation + automatically resized by NG so the quality might be reduced :(

I didnt realize how amazing that last shot was until just a second ago...that is definitely going in my portfolio..

this one if partly a good photo but i hadn't focused in on the flower enough resulting in a really shaky shot...i realized i needed to re shoot later that day but never got around to it, now i'm sure the flower must be dead or out of season by now

well i've reached my four post limit, so i will leave you all with this:

another decent shot that lacks professionalism. I took this picture three times, the third was the charm, however, this is the second because just as I finished, my neighbor pulled up and her headlight, of course, ruined the exposure. which reminds me that i needed to take another so that the sky wouldn't be so distracting, but i'm sure i can just do something less natural of that effect in photoshop

no photoshop used i hope you all know how this was done

this is pretty sweet, how was it done? Im assuming some type of timelapse, but Im not sure how you got rid of the person waving the sparkler

Response to Photography 2008-07-02 21:25:04

Thanks man. No photoshop used at all. I set my camera up on a tripod, set it to a 60 second exposure and ran around with a sparkler. Because the shutter speed was so low the photo becomes way more sensitive to light, enabling me to show the full stream of the sparkler

there are two simple laws of the came that allow me to become seamlessly invisible, first off i wasnt illuminating any type of light and the second is like... camera blur, if you make a quick movement right before a picture is taken the result is blur around a base figure. in this picture camera blur is just demonstrated on a much larger scale, to the point where you can no longer see any type of base figure atl all, on slight blur where ever i stood longer than 3 seconds

+here's an early conceptual picture in which i was trying to capture nature vs. man (raised contrast, emboss glow, and slight burn)

suprisingly stead shot for such a low shutter speed...

this is a picture of ambient-drone artist, Lichens. he opened for Explosions In The Sky.
