I personally don't like it very much. Maybe if the gears and tread were turned into movie clips and moved, but no. THe old one has a more classic feel to it. Unless you make the stuff move, I prefer the old one. Oh and the background light rays should be rotating too. Yeah...ADD THAT STUFF DAMMIT

i think the logo is really good...i cant help but notice though, that people always pick apart a good drawing. i've had it done to me on several times. and its usually the same people that them, theirselves, cant draw.

the fact that the new logo uses all VECTOR GRAPHICS is a huge improvement

I wish you guys could make this preloader in .SWI format for SWiSH users out there. Not everyone uses Macromedia Flash, after all. -_-;;

Well yeah it's pretty cool! I like the white line around it, and it's becoming more 3-D now (well, kinda!). The font is cool too! =D

Being a vector art that is now an actual pic in flash, not gif. quality, but the picture itself is much better. The barrel is actually accurate to the position of the tank.
It would be nice to have an animated NG preloader, like how some flash artist have, but that would be asking for too much. But nice update.

Not such a major update, but it looks better. I don't think I will use it too much though, I don't feel like advertising a site on a preloader when I have my own site for which I need advertisement :P.
All this is a very clever thing, now I'm not even sure whether this preloader was made for Newgrounds advertisement or just to give a gift to all artists who can't make a preloader of their own. I think it's more of the first one than the second. :)
Many people are happy to have a Newgrounds preloader and always use it, even for small tests, because they think it's 'cool' and 'professional'. But I don't think all those people realise they are advertising Newgrounds for free. ^^
I also noticed this new Newgrounds tank was also added to the post textarea bacjground, it looks nicer and more detailed. What I first noticed about it is the shading - way better now.
