I've heard several other SS members praise the Barney Bunch. But several of us have also expressed hate for it, so I wouldn't say we were allies or anything. I personally think they're geniuses. They submit shitty flashes, then they act like they think the flashes are hilarious, when in reality the thing they find hilarious is not necesarily the flash itself, but the reaction they get from it. It takes so little effort to piss someone off on Newgrounds nowadays, and I think they really capitalize on this. In fact, they thrive on it. Every flash they submit that passes judgement gets more than 100 extremely abusive reviews. All of this is accomplished so easily; one frame of Barney or Drew Pickles, with a speakonia voice or a 12 year old's voice in the background.
In terms of accomplishing their goals, the BB is one of the most succesful groups in NG history. If not for fear that I might get deleted, I would join and help them out. Actually, I might even make a really good quality Barney Bunch flash, just to confuse people

In my short time at the syndicate, it was a fun lawless and strange place to be. they did some crazy even some bad things. But they also did good things. If a handfull of you would have just taken the time to visit the fourms and see what kind of nice people were there you would have looked at us in a whole new light, instead of just judgeing us by our actions through the portal.

I'm going to miss seeing the fun pictures and voting and laughing at other members cartoons they had made. some will move on to bigger things and others will drift away back into
newgrounds. All I want to say is, it was swell to be a member and share briefly in that wounderful joy that was, The Star Syndicate.

No, a mod decided he would ban a bunch of SS members from the BBS and reviewing simply for being in the SS. This caused a bit of an outrage and the mod ended up lifting the BBS bans, and Wade the review bans

Don't know. We were in the process of planning Season 3 when the boards were closed. So it will be at least three months, since that's how long SevenStar says it will take for him to regain interest in the SS

Well, with the SS gone, I guess that leaves a space open in the portal to be filled by another decent (i.e not the Barney Bunch) and controversial flash group. Let's just hope that when one does come along, which it will, it adheres to that same sort of random, against the mainstream humour that the SS specialized in.

It really would be a shame if the portal lost that type of flash forever.
