Ah, I've found Newgrounds to be much more entertaining... how can you have more fun than watching good ol' Survivor Afganistan? (Look in favorites)

Anyways, as a continuation of War Trivia, here's my questions of the day -

Today's Topic: Greece

Who won the Battle of Marathon?

Who won the Persian Wars?

What was Athens' major military power? (what did it rely on most)

Was Troy fact of fiction?

Either the Athenians or the Spartans

Who won the Persian Wars?

Greece?

What was Athens' major military power? (what did it rely on most)

Was Troy fact of fiction?

Fact

lol... you guys are up for some competition XD

And I did answer your question - check it.

And, you got all of them right - except, Greece won the battle of Marathon - both were part of the "Delian Leauge", an alliance of many of the Greek city-states, which allied against Persia.

Question:

What was the longest battle of World War II?

The Battle of the Bulge

3. Which country was the one to sent the Zimmermann Note to Mexico during World War 1?

6. Which Aztec king fall to the hands of Hernando Cortes and the conquistadors?

7. During the Boxer Rebellion in China, which Dynasty fell to the hands of the Boxers?

8. What year did Japan invade China during World War 2?

I'll stick with that - a guess however -

Major Battles: 8 (?)

Well, there was no truce in 1914 - you have your dates wrong... lol

November 11, 1918 is Armistance Day - signed in the forest of Compiegne

I had to google this one cause of the year (I thought the date was wrong, so I checked it), so I added that forest thing as an extra XD

Nope, this was a unofficial truce made by the soldiers of Britain and Germany, once the officers found out they banned truce-making by soldiers on this day.

Correct again:

On Christmas Day, 1914, German and British troops called a temporary truce and serenaded eath other with Christmas carols from their opposing trenches. There were even a few calls for visits across the "No Man's Land" and small gifts such as whisky and cigars were exchanged. When British commanders learned of the impromptu cease-fire they were enraged and vowed that the "Christmas Truce" would not be repeated in following years.

That's five for you, zero for everyone else. I'll post a new question in half-an-hour, until then there is one question a page back that no one has answered.
