Well i do believe i shall join this fine crew as i myself have recently purchased an xbox 360. I have had it for a little over a month and already have 4 games, could be 5 tomorrow.

I'll join. My gamertag is ManiacMan2010. The only games I own now are CoD 2 and Oblivion (The collector's edition, with a 112-page guide, a DVD, and A COIN!!!!111). Everything else I rent.

I just got an XBOX 360 today. It freezes like fucking crazy. My brothers don't believe me, but I think this is why:
This morning, we put the new Xbox on the upstairs TV (it's warm upstairs). After much trouble, we got it to work. Then, we decided to put it in the basement because we were having company over, and they probably wanted to watch TV. It's cold in my basement. It doesn't work down there.

Anyone think they can help?

#1: Well, My Xbox 360 freezes once in a while because I bought it in January when the new shipments came out. But I don't think that's the reason. Sometimes, my system overheats. Maybe that's why.
#2: How long have you been playing with the system so far? I suggest the Nyko Air Flow thing or a fan to put near your Xbox 360. Overheation problems do occur. :/

Mine freezes much more often when its been on for a while.
I put it in a larger space and it hardly ever freezes now.

I suggest you should get Gears of War. It's way better then Call of Duty 3.

No, it either gets this error message saying "this disc is unreadble" when I start it up and it goes back to the dashboard. Or, I get to play it for a minute or two but then it freezes during gameplay.
I've tried Halo 2 in it but that froze after 10 minutes, I tried my sisters Sims 2 game and I got one red light and that it doesnt support that game.
I've brought GoW over to my friends house and it worked perfectly!
I rang the customer care support line (chinese people or something) and did everything they told me to but that didnt work.
I'm just gonna bring it back tomorrow.

My 360 is... defective. My brother is going to get a new one tomorrow.

Well I'm at my dads house so I won't have it set up until I get back around the 30th. I love PGR, but I still haven't came up with a gamertag. I'll think of one today and let you know.

I finally got a 360. I got Viva Pinata, Call Of Duty 3, Saints Row and Smackdown Vs Raw 2007. So far my gaming expierience has been perfect except with Saints Row, which has froze a few times but thats probably because I've played it too much. I have money for another game and another controller. I'm thinking of getting GOW.
