I've always wondered, is this a good award or a bad award. I mean, I know what it is, the greatest diffeerence between the movie score and the review score, but is that good or bad?

Neutral, it's pretty much a pat on the back.
I think its a bit of a laugh when it is a really stupid but kinda funny one. When poeple put hentai in the title and have a single screen of a clown with his dick out ;) or something that kinda pisses me off.

I don't think it's a good thing either, most people hate the authors that had the turd of the week award. Some authors say they were aiming for it, than it's not funny anymore. Underdog of the Week well, I think it's a good award. They have either a pretty high review score or a pretty high voting score and you also get publicity in a kind of neutral way.

no, its basically an animation by someone whos not exactly super talented but it showed a decent effort and isn't half bad.
Alien hominid could be considered an underdog for ps2/gamecube.
its prettymuch impossible for a 2 dimensional game to make it real good.

it means basically that the animation is so sad and/or it was made specifically to be blammed or hated. like... an animation that was specifically supposed to suck and piss people off but SOMEHOW got in is a turd of the week. its also a great place to get your whistle lvl up on the reviews.

I think underdog of the week is a good award, it shows that people do like the game/cartoon, but this is not always the case.
