Anyway mr. possesd however you spell it. To use automation clips go to the top where it says channels and click add one. Now that you have one get an fx on your fx window. Now you see the little knob which controls the volume for that effect. What you do is right click the knob and choose "Link to controller" then on the little black area on the window that comes up instead of having "none" click it and choose "auto clip"

Now you have your effect linked to it, from there you go to the bottom of the "PL" and click where you want that auto clip to be so that you can tweak the volume of it and stuff.

Alright, I just went out and bought the latest version of fruity loops.

Will someone help me. I have a descent idea of how to use FL but im having a probmlem with something. When i put 2 sounds into the playlist they work fine
but when i put another 1 or 2 and play the song only 3 of the 4 sounds work, how do i fix this problem?

I keep on trying to export a tune on fruity loops but it keeps on saying

"could not create the file.
Please check that no other applications are currently using it."

At the piano roll, when you put a regtangle on the grid on any sound of any length, holding the mouse butten over the rectangle, you can move it over or half way over a square on the grid. The thing is that when I hold the mouse butten over it and move it, I want it to jump from block to block. I don't want it to move inside a block millimeters at a time. I hope it is clear enough.

Yes you can. Just make sure that if you're going to record a long piece you increase your beats per bar on the step sequencer.

O.k. It looks like you have your SNAP set to NONE Click the black box just above snap and set it to what ever size beat size you want. I use 1/4 beat.

In the FX Channels, asuming you have what you want linked to it, add Fruity Filter, Right click cut off freq. Then select great automation clip, then in the playlist click the bottom half and mess with it there, cant explain :p stretch it and make it climb or desend how you want.

you can use stuff already with fl, for example the master volume slider at the top left pannel, nexto it is a pitch slider, you can rigth click and also do automation clip.
