If you so choose. You couold reWire FL and Reason, lots of other ReWire applicable programs together and use the powers of 2 programs instead of one, or you could finish a song in FL, and master it/add FX to it in Soundforge or something.

Be creative.

sup guys?

just wondering, how do you draw curves in the piano roll automation? I can only put points. I really want to draw in a filter sweep for example.

Any ideas?

I'm having a problem with Fruity Loops myself.

You know how you can control the speed of the song by just clicking on the transport bar and setting it? Well, it just sticks there, as well as setting which effects go where. Is there any buttons I can hit to change those manually, or is there a way I can make it function by the old method again?

I don't know much about fuit loops but, you've had it for some time, right? If it's never done this before, I would suggest reinstalling it, but what do I know?

Well, that's what I was thinking of doing, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

i want to make hardcore music, lol and thads all about the bass

Open your browser > Click Channel presets > Click TS404 > Drag any of the preset basses on to the Step Sequencer .

Now you can add all different types of effects to help you fine tune the sound you're looking for. Reverb and Flanger and soon.

Apparently enough, because that is all that was needed.

Yep, to start with. Get to know the program, read tutorials and try them out for yourself. It takes time but it's worth it.

Alright, I'm having that problem once again. . .

Here's the screenshot of what I'm talking about. I'm usually able to just click on the tempo bar (top) and the knobs (middle right) to adjust them, but I'm not able to do so. . .

hmm, are you doing anything differently that could cause this? What did you do before you had this problem, last time and this time? Only thing I could think of is just reinstall every time you get this, or find out whats causing it and try to avoid it.

It's just acting weird. Sometimes when I start up the program it does this, and other times it won't. It's kind of screwy, so I'll just try to bypass it and hope for the best.

A summary on how Automation works.

that IS a summary but it doesn't tell anyone how the hell it works. it's hard to make music without automation once you've figured it out.

Swift, I've listened to a good bit of your tracks already and I gotta say you are improving a lot. I'm not sure what advice to give you other than just, "keep at it." I really like your music and why your ratings are so low... well, that's just bad luck or something. I gave ya some 5s to even things out :D

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Yeah, I'll just keep at it like you said. I want my stuff to get good enough to make a cd someday. hopefuly i have that potential. thanks again

Help!
Well, since i need some good vst's as i have asked a lot of times, could someone give me a good one, or tell me where i could find it?
I need a trance vs't, that kind of trumpet you here in some parts.
if you don't know what i mean, listen to 'everytime we touch' by Cascada at 56 seconds.
Please, i was asked a request, someone wanted me to make a remix, but i don't have the proper vst.
also, bass and hardcore basses would be great :D
thanx in advance.

are you in my computer or windows explorer, because sometimes if you browse for files in a program, it will only show certain file types, and the mp3 player could have put it into a different format than mp3, although unlikely

that is really weird, sounds more like a windows problem. check your drivers. might want to re-install them
