Yes I'm pleased Obama won. I have a feeling that people will focus on the failures he makes, just like every president, and this will give southerners more reason to moan. But when I woke up and saw it on BBC breakfast, and saw his speech I could honestly sense that the right decision had been made.

Neat, I went to a party with my friend on Halloween myself, but it had nothing to do with Halloween really.
Drank everything from different wines to vodka. Tried some Czech strong stuff some Czech fellow had brought there, something tasted like gingerbread and whatnot.. was pretty good, but the best thing was that it made the old beer taste even better afterwards! I met a nice cute guy too.. suppose it was pretty fun.

I guess they were pretty okay, however, I didn't find any of the presidential candidates great this year, but both 'finalists' were above decent and it'll be interesting to see what Obama will do next year and onwards..
Otherwise I have been suffering from mild to mid-strong stomach pains and overall soreness this week, buggery stuff, don't know where it came from, but it's annoying me..

I think that Obama's going to have a hell of a time pulling out of Iraq. It's a lose-lose situation, really. If we stay there, we go deeper into debt and more of our soldiers die, but if we pull out, their infrastructure's going to fall apart.
He also has the economy to deal with.
Both the Bush administration and the banks have collectively done their job in making Obama the maid that cleans up our messes, except instead of cleaning up just a coffee spill, someone's gone and filled the entire house with coffee and now he has to clean that up without spilling any onto the street.
I'm for Obama all the way, as my news post suggests, and I really hope people don't go batshit crazy with bashing him for the consequences of others' mistakes.
My man Nader didn't win, so I was pretty dissapointed.

Yeah but bless him for being there anyways

I don't think I heard his name once in msnbc's broadcast of the election.
I mean, I wasn't for him and I was doubtful that he'd win, but still.
Malls that set up Christmas decorations before thanksgiving suck. Does anyone here remember a time when they didn't do that?

That logic is ridiculous. Also, where did you get your statistics from?

Why?
Obviously they have developed a sudden bad allergy to turkey.

Two weeks from yesterday to be exact.
Inviting relatives/friends, overeating, the stuff most families do.

Gives me a nice break in October. It's so nice out still during that time, so I can actually get my ass outside for a few hours before November hits. I don't have time to enjoy warmth when my head's buried in books 24/7.
I'd say I'm pretty lucky, as far as getting out while it's still nice goes. My school's pretty hands on, so we're always doing all this stuff outside.

And this will also be the first time I'll be spending it with you!

No, they don't. Midian is putting her computer at the dinner table.

Oh, okay.
She just has to make sure the computer doesn't eat too much.

Just remember not to let it at any of the alcohol. Computers are such light weights.
We should post more doodles. I had some good laughs out of them.
