Ok, tell me. What exactly is so shit hot about socialism/communism and I'll go right ahead and tell you why you're wrong. And if I can't, I'll gladly eat my words.

Social equality is a law in all (more or less) counrtys in the world, only in communist states is it performed correctly.

I'm not very well informed about communist china, or russia really, so I'm not going to pass comment on any of that sort of thing until I can be bothered reading up on it.
(Don't get me wrong, it is an interesting subject, I just entirely disagree with it)

But anyway, I do know that in Cuba, everyone has the same salary.
At a first glance, that sounds more than fair. The perfect ideal of equality. But it isn't.

When I was taught about Cuba (a good few years ago) the national pay was something like £45 per week.
Doctors and Scientists, bin men and cleaners. They all get paid the same amount.

Someone who studies for years and dedicates their life into a profession earns exactly the same as someone who goes through life putting in the minimal effort required.
How is that fair? Hard work should be rewarded, but in Cuba, it simply isn't.

But wait. There are people who earn more than the salary.
People like hotel workers are earning a lot more than everyone else because they earn tips from holiday makers. In a lot of cases, people like surgeons are giving up on their jobs to go work in a hotel where they can earn a better living.

Instead of going out every day to work, to save people's lives, they're delivering towels to provide for their family.

"Imperialism is the unfair sharing of riches, but communism is the fair sharing of poverty."
~Winston Churchill

Of course the unwise capatilist will bring up the example of same salary works and lack of aspiration. But Mike, if you read communist manifesto edition 1 you would note this is not true.

Quick explanation.

3 streams of work.

tri necasary - state dependant - state depends on it.

So while in the first one you have primary, secondary and tertiary jobs. The jobs can not exist with out each other - for instance car production.

Miner gets materials for car. - primary.
Factory worker proceses materials. - secondary
Buisness man sells car. - tertiary.

So it is only just that these people get the same pay. They are part of a team, a community.

Secondly state dependant jobs get a fixed pay because the state doesnt need them, they add nothing to the economy and may only bring things like tourism or leaisure costs. Things like tv presenters, musicians and authors. They pay the same levels of tax over time as tri nesacry but due to the essence of the comodity they produce they pay it back over longer periods of time.

And lastly jobs that the state depends on like doctors, public transport drivers, teachers. Get the same ammount of money but don't pay as much tax because they are adding to the state. The state is the most important thing and in Laos, Vietnam and Cuba this is very relivent.

But Marx didn't even care that much about economic equality, the most important thing is social. Engel dealed with economic. And Lenin was the moderniser and revolutioner.

I believe in it and nothing will change my mind. Corruption comes from big buisnesses, not the workers of the land.

Kind regards -
Sirtom93.

So the miner, who performs hard physical labor deserves the same amount of pay as the Salesman who talks to people about the cars?
Yeah, that's fair..

Secondly state dependant jobs

Fair enough, but culture, in my opinion is just important as Industry/Buisness.
Industry allows us to live, but culture gives us a reason to live.
As long as we have the money for our food and hygiene, we're healthy. But we're not necessarily happy.

Also, the 'state dependant' people within the media, earn their living from advertisement.
The tri necessary workers may produce and sell required goods, but if it wasn't for advertisements in the media, people would go uninformed of a certain product and it would sell significantly less.

And lastly jobs that the state depends on like doctors, public transport drivers, teachers. Get the same ammount of money but don't pay as much tax because they are adding to the state. The state is the most important thing and in Laos, Vietnam and Cuba this is very relivent.

I suppose I can't argue with that, seems right enough.

But Marx didn't even care that much about economic equality, the most important thing is social. Engel dealed with economic. And Lenin was the moderniser and revolutioner.

Every radical thinker has to be admired in some respects, that includes Marx.

I believe in it and nothing will change my mind. Corruption comes from big buisnesses, not the workers of the land.

I'm not trying to change your mind, you're entitled to your opinion as much as I am to mine.
I just enjoy discussion, that is after all the whole point of a forum.

So, Sarah. Did you have a good time while I was gone? Make any new friends?

Anyways, I was babysitting the neighborhood kids (between ages 5 and 10; most of them girls) for the past several days! I never had time to log on! These children wanted so much! But on the plus side, I saved them from spending time at some cheesy summer camp!

So now it's July, and I'm back on the internet and Newgrounds, in the Female Users Club, hoping to understand what the hell happened after page 143.

You still have culture an entertainment, people will still strive to become it because it is probably a better class of work. But the fact they add the same to the economic infrustructure of the state means that they are economicaly and socialy equal.

Money from tax pays for advertising I guess, but it's the company who advertises anyway.

I suppose I can't argue with that, seems right enough.

Good.

Hey girls. Sorry I wasn't here the past day or so. I'm sure many of you have noticed that it's July now. Independence Day is coming in three days. I can't wait!
So, what'd I miss?

Yesterday, we had fun with the slip n' slide. The day before, we drew a punch of pictures. Some were drawn on the computer, so I might post some here. I think they're kinda cute.

I've been so busy with my job that I wasn't able to log on for quite some time. I just came back today to realize the number of pages had jumped dramatically.

I live in the U.S., so why wouldn't I? Last year, my family drove to DC and watched the fireworks. This year however, me and Sarah (Mechanical-Mistress) are just gonna sit on lawn chairs on my roof, drink some cold-ones, and watch the local teens go nuts with their fireworks.

D.C., huh? I've been there. I'm not sure what I'm gonna be doing this year for the 4th of July, except my Grandma's birthday's that day, and we might watch the fireworks display from our local McDonald's. You get the best view from there where I live. It's always so crowded.

My town usually has it's own fireworks show, so I'll probably go to that.

Other than that, we'll probably have a cookout and that's about it.
