I fricken love the first one the most, but if I'm honest I like em all. They've got a really unique feeling to them and I love the style of humor. Please don't stop making em!
As I've said before your comics have this magnetism to them, particularly the woodsy scenes done with marker. Good vibes all around, great work.

@Sourcherryjack Funny the effects you can get with just lines and Crayola markers. But that marker coloring is a bit tedious/un-artistic and I'm not about to go back to it. Thanks very much.

I really appreciate the feedback! It's energizing and I want to get good at this. The writing is an issue. I'm trying to improve it by reading. Anyway, I'll post again when I've got a bunch of pages drawn. For now, here's my rusty restart with a poorly-drawn Expresso.
May I please have critical feedback on any part of the current stuff I'm working on, if you feel like it. I'm about to attempt 12 pages in 4 weeks for a card for my mom's birthday and I'd love for it to not be embarrassing. My art knowledge comes from How to Draw Batman so there's a lot I don't know, clearly.
The main thing I want is for it to look fun rather than painful. I don't want it to just look like a lot of work. But I think actually the way to get there is just bulldoze through and hope it gets easier and faster.
I also want it to look 3d, like you're looking into a world. I got a tip from the DeviantArt forum to use darker colors in the foreground to create depth. I'm sure there are other ways I don't know. I'm gonna be too lazy to do perspective points and lines.
The story is an issue. I'm not interested in anything contrived. It's just gonna be a character going about her day. The panels all have reference photos and the final product is a video to a rap verse so there's no place for dialogue. I hope the result won't be mundane and annoying, I hope it will be visually... interesting or whatever.
I have color-blindness so I'm sure it's all very garish. I kind of bullshit by desaturating the colors. Not sure how to improve here. If I had money I'd hire Oddlem to paint it. And draw it.

the panel with all the trees was particularly breathetaking

Too big face, and she's not attractive like I wanted her to be. This is taking so long it means I can't get the whole comic done in any reasonable amount of time. If I had all day to work on it I could do a panel a day. If I wanna do this forever, which I think I do, I have to monetize. Basically no idea how. I'd be starting marketing as a white belt, risking destitution and dependence on other people.

I don't enjoy the process half as much as I enjoy the end product.
I can see how people would dislike my finished shit and I dislike it too sometimes, like 'why would you spend so much time on what's essentially a dumb cartoon?' but I think this sort of visual style is the one I want to stick with to tell stories. There's so much work that has to happen to get the freedom to just devote myself to this though.
The shit at the top of the page is total brain rot. I don't know if the new stuff is too... there's something arrested development about it. I don't mean the show. I mean retarded. But if I can sort of communicate a bit more clever or at least positive stuff through the story it could be something worth reading or whatever. Jesus.
