It's good to get as much feedback as possible, even repeats. The general response I get to "Newgrounds Day" is that the intent is good but it lacks a certain magic and likely wouldn't elicit a big response. Saying "I can't wait for Newgrounds Day" doesn't have the same vibe as "I can't wait for Pico Day."
I say keep pico day, but keep pushing that its a day for newgrounds in general. maybe you could even prioritize things with more outreaching themes and characters to incentivize people to want to look into more newgrounds' history to find more characters, animations, and games they can resonate with.
