It was just an image. Occasionally users would blank their own accounts by replacing working submissions with images. I know of one guy who replaced everything with the words "delete my account" on a white background since he didn't know how to request a delete of his account. That may be what happened here. Couldn't get those scores with a nonworking game or a static image, so must've had something there at one point that's been changed to non-working image. Age doesn't matter; anything can be flagged if it needs attention. These are no more.

There were two entries with missing thumbnails that turned up in my results when I did a date search, however they were unpublished entries that for some reason hadn't been cleared from the Elastics system.

why not move onto flash items from 2003, or 2004 where you can find flash animations that don't even have a thumbnail yet
items that don't have a thumbnail are the top priority, going back and sifting through items that already have a thumbnail and then updating those are secondary
