No doubt you've seen classy movie premieres where the attendees pose in front of a banner displaying all the sponsors icons and the event name, I'd like to do/pay for the same: a roll of thin Astroturf, commercial clothing rack to hold it up (or something similar, host's choice). I'll leave it to you to decorate it with the emblems/user icons of those whose work is shown, as well as the NG tank icon throughout (I'm sure @tomfulp can bring some stickers, after the event, the attendees can snag em off the carpet). Here's an example of the sort of background we could have off to the side of the theater's entrance.
BTW, will you be issuing a press release to the local papers before the event? I seriously doubt they'd cover it or even send a photog, but you never know. Either way, I hope I won't be the only one snapping pics of NG celebs.
@VicariousE I'm not sure about all of that, but we'll have a big flashy movie poster up in the display case, and it will be picture worthy for sure! We'll have an updated announcement soon!

Fair enough, hoping to see a lot of local and state animators featured, local press, etc.
Also hoping to see @wadefulp there with his camera, metal detector and assortment of usher lights.
