So everyone brings up games like Immortal, Company of myself, etc. when I ask about what's a meaningful flash game to play that will give you feels.
I'm not looking for those. It was a platformer game. The antagonist was this disembodied God voice in your head that wanted you to do a bunch of tasks under the guise of wanting to help you. Near the end(?) you figure out the thing isn't trying to help you at all and is just toying with you but there is a way to escape the simulation(?) trap(?) that put you there to begin with.
8 bit graphics. If I'm not mistaken there's a hint at the antagonists true intentions with the title of the game.
If anyone at all has any idea what I'm talking about or remembers, please let me know.
