I was interested in what you guys think, who would win?

This is assuming they are both at human size and in a moderately warm/cold environment.

Oh damn, you right. Well without the amazing, cheezy 80s power ballads

In what environment? The blob can't handle cold as well as the thing, but then again, the blob is immune to any kind of damage. Because it doesn't have any kind of noticeable nervous system or brain, I think the thing would be consumed, end of story.

We've only ever seen The Thing in a snowy environment.
Can you imagine if it had favorable conditions to thrive in?

I can't imagine what The Blob is really capable of other than just being a giant, slow moving mass of jelly.

The only thing is that The Thing never flinches to stomach acid and since The Blob basically digests it's victims more than likely if it could negate the acidic conditions.

Remember guys, this is in a mild environment. I'd say berween 50 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Thing assumes shapes right? Wouldn't there just be two blobs fighting over the earth for eternity?

Are you sure those traits are to be decisive when comparing these two
