I realy hope i'm not in a wrong forum, but oh well.
So i was working on animation of a guy laying on his back in the open sea. To add a feeling he is partly inside of a water i added some classic animation. For a quick remove of the unwanted parts of this classic animation i symboled the guy, duplicated his layer and used the duplication as mask. For some reason the only part that worked as mask is only one symbol inside the guy animation. At the begining it was one of the foots, trying to fix it i symboled the water animation - and for reason it's only the head now that works as mask.
I have a feeling i'm forgeting something very basic about the masks, but for the last two days i haven't figured out what is the problem.
