That is a great N64 game. The first in a great series.

Part 3 is cool. But that's when they started to leave their roots

Do you think changing it up, was a bad idea? Didn't the new things actually make it better?

Nah the changes in 3 were good. It felt new again but you could tell they were trying to give it some type of edge and feel the vs. series never had before. That leads us to the present game that imo doesn't seem like a vs style game. Maybe Injustice scared them. I also liked the roster better in 2.

They should make a new episode where they have all the character choices, and all different play styles. That way you could pick and choose what you like best.

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea, I'm down with that.

You can never go wrong with a game that includes everything. However, it usually ends up being the last one in the series.

Ryu has a strong Dragon Punch. I remember playing Street Fighter 2 on the SNES.
The Super Smash Bros. series and Pokken Tournament, of course

What type of controller do you use when playing Street Fighter on your computer? SNES is not old, it is retro.

You know it. Besides, being the world's strongest human is a huge accomplishment.

He is also the strongest being without a nose lol
Can't mess with Mortal Kombat 1 and 2!
This promo is etched in my mind from youth "More characters! MORE secret moves!"

Not much of a fan of the genre. But my favourite is definitely Soul Calibur 2 since I loved the Sword Quest campaign thing, it was sad to see it removed in a later game I bought, as it was definitely the best part of the game by a long way (including the overwhelmingly bullshit difficulty of some missions which pissed me off but felt like they deserved to be there)
Also as a bonus, I've never once played Evil Zone, but the fact one of the characters is voiced by Paul Eiding who voiced the Colonel in Metal Gear Solid makes watching his story mode via retsupurae stupidly entertaining, especially when he goes on about his drinking

They were the first two, when the series was still new and fresh.

That looks like an awesome promo from back in the day. When fighting games were so much simpler.

Who is your favorite character in Street Fight 2?
Have you played the other games in the series?
That's a tricky one. From the multiple fighting games I have played, I'd say it be fighting games with relatively simple controls and easy playstyles. Basically, easy to learn hard to master fighting games. Also, 2D fighting games due to the fact I enjoy the art way more in those types, it really sticks out as something special and unique most of the time. Finally, a diverse cast of colorful characters with fun movesets that I can derive enjoyment from.
If I had to pick one fighting game that fills my criteria of favorite fighting game, it would have to be Skullgirls. It just hits all the right notes for me. Easy to pick up and play, hard to master. Artstyle really stands out and is quite beautiful by itself. And the characters are all so different and interesting.
