The Sedgwick County Zoo has welcomed its newest and one of its cutest additions: a baby lowland gorilla. Zoo officials said the gorilla was born late Wednesday, August 3. It's the first gorilla birth at the zoo and the first born to parents Barika, 15, and Matt, 23.
It is refreshing to hear a story about animals behaving, and not being injured.
