What is a good piano to use for piano melodies in FL Studio? I would look this up but I really want opinions from you guys. I want to make a piano arrangement but nothing has sounded good yet.

The Akai Steinway SF2 is pretty much THE best piano sound I have ever, EVER come across.
Now before anyone disses me on this: every pianist swears by a Steinway, and that soundfont is pretty accurate about how it sounds (bearing in mind that some of my most cherished pieces and video takes, I'd done on a Steinway grand).
Look in @blackattackbitch's forum thread of orchestral SF2s and you'll find that it's one of the many SF2s he links to. It's in a zip file, with a host of other percussions though, so you may have to sift through them all to find it.
I prefer The Giant, by Native Instruments. But I'm no orchestral producer so take that for what it's worth.
I make music.

I assume that's not FL Studio 12 native?

Oh, haha. Well, I almost helped XD
I make music.
there IS one i would like to bring attention to.
the piano on this site is my favorite. you will need to download an sfz player for fl studio though.
piano test
the first 2 piano melodies playing were from an sf2 soundfont, the 3rd and 4th were played with keppy's sfz soundfont.
just remember to credit keppy by linking his website if you publish anything with his soundfonts in it.

I'll keep it in mind. Nice seeing you again.
PianoOne is a pretty good free piano VST, nice crisp sound but not muddy like FL keys and not too bright either

I'll check it out, thx.
You can get very far with the grand piano from Directwave. Experiment with volumes, reeverb, EQ and stereo.

I use Vienna Grand by Galaxy Instruments exclusively for almost everything . Very expressive sound.
