I've been looking all around trying to find audio of single words or even short phrases that are sung out. If you look up "Twilight Tonight - Arty remode" you can hear what I mean. The word "tonight" is sung out. I want to use them in some melodic progressive tracks but I just haven't been able to find them anywhere.
Perhaps ask a vocalist to help you do it?

Simple as grabbing a vocal track that you really enjoy and slicing words out of it. Focus on long vowels with slight variations.
Once you've got those samples, throw them into your favorite sampler plugin and use them as an instrument.
