If you basically want it for gaming, I would recommend one of the ten listed 'closed-back' Headphones, as they will keep the noise to yourself.

I would definitely go with one of the first 3 options.

did you create an account just to make a redundant post on a thread from more than a year ago?

Any idea why?

I would contact Sennheiser, as they have an excellent customer service record and a pretty comprehensive warranty plan. I believe all of their items are subject to a 2 Year Warranty. If you do contact them for a refund, include the following;

- Retailer's Name
- Original Date of Purchase
- Model or SKU number of the Product Purchased
- Failure to supply a bill of sale with all of the required information will result in denial of warranty repair or replacement.

For a list of authorized Sennheiser dealers visit their website at;
Sennheiser USA Service and Support Dealer

Plus, get off the wireless headphones ASAP!

Have you tried using it on another system? Certainly, you would have.My first suggestion is to try another cable or try clearing the jacks of both the input and output side,it it doesn't work then you need to buy a new one , this guide may help you in choosing one: https://gadgetsdeck.com/best-studio-headphones/

I bought the Sennheiser HD280 Pro's based on the recommendations here:
https://ledgernote.com/columns/gear-reviews/best-studio-headphones-mixing-recording/

They're about half the price as the HD438's but the same quality in my opinion. The only difference is the 280's are closed back headphones, which is good if you don't want to be bothering other people with your sounds.
