The Big Bang Theory, by far. It's a show without a single funny episode that somehow is still on TV. Even the worst of the worst usually have at least a few good moments, but TBBT is pure shit.

I don't watch enough sitcoms or TV in general to form an opinion. Hell, even with the sitcoms I enjoyed, I've only seen a few episodes.

The Simpsons have had highs and lows , but they can't be the worst.

This.
If it had to be a sitcom that got more then a few episodes before it was canned I'd say The Office (the original, I've never seen the US version to comment on it.) or Two and a Half Men, I just hate Ricky Gervais and Charlie Sheen.

I must admit that I enjoy some of the new episodes it's not written gold like the older stuff though.

That is a lame answer. You have to pick one.

@IAmCrystalHeights and @Smartypants
Those are many choices. You have to pick one.

Basically current kids sitcoms that's still running. Some ASSembly Required is the worst I've seen.

Almost any show with comedy can be called a sitcom.

Daytime sitcoms are not great, but you have to pick one.
@yurgenburgen @Vixuzar @Cordyceps
Still waiting for your choices.

I'm surprised I didn't know that was a thing. I love the original show. Watched it as a kid.

Yeah a lot of people really liked the office. Never jived with me. I get it, your situation is an uncomfortable one.
You must pick one sitcom. If not, I can pick one for you @stafffighter
No one seems to remember 7th Heaven?
Though it's not a comedy in the traditional sense.

America is not the only nation that borrows show from other nations. I'm looking at you Mexico.

We can all be friends. Just picking the worst sitcom ever created.
Friends
The Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men
How I Met Your Mother
Modern Family

Dramas and comedies are not the same thing. Most soap operas are boring.
Motherfucking Two and a Half Men. That show was fucking THE WORST.
At 11/12/15 10:15 PM, mysticvortex13 wrote: because soap operas are dramas. these shows are not funny, they try to be but fail, ergo, they are dramas.
Now that we all know about dramas, lets go back to sitcoms. What was the worst one ever created?

This is something that worries me. Shows are going so many different exclusive places now that there will be no universal pop culture. Am I saying netflix should be an monopoly? No, but this is a valid concern.

Well, Crackle's free and Seinfeld's constantly on TV still, (though I guess lots of people skip cable now) but yeah, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime etc. having their own shows is like having a bunch of separate premium channels out there without the option of a package deal.

It's worse than that. Like you said, people are option out of regular tv now. There used to at least be a common base of basic cable and network shows. That's gonna stop being true.
