Facebook is a sh*t site anyway. It's just an excuse to harvest your personal information and sell it to third parties.
Here's a chat log from Suckerberg and a friend that took place when Facebook was new:

You can actually have a Facebook account deleted? I thought the most you could do is deactivate it.

Saw a video of someone trying to 'delete' all their pictures on Facebook. Was pretty damn funny how annoying it was.
I've got facebook to keep in contact with a few family members.
I had an OKcupid account and was actually talking to someone, but then they got all suspicious when they didn't believe I was a site mod and had to look at any accounts with fake pictures or bad stuff.
That and I got hit on by 2 dozen welfare queens and called it quits.

really guys, what's so addicting about facebook? i still have an account there and rarely visits the site (maximum of once a week). but then i congratulate you for quitting social medias.

I don't delete my facebook account since that would include needing to go to facebook and login to my account and then find out however you delete it. I find the better use of my time and effort is to waste it on less irritating things.
With Facebook a long time ago now actually that I think about it. Did the same thing and got rid of it.

Im subscribed to pages on Facebook. I use it for comedy and bullshit and I typically check in to be entertained. My friends do post, sure, but I would rather have news articles right next to my memes, sandwiched between some cringe channel nonsense
