Just had another idea.

Random Artist Week

It will showcase the work of a random artist (i.e. everything that artist has made will be on the front page), and each day of that week will feature a different artist, for a total of 7 different artists. Also, each of those respective days will be named after the artist it's featuring.

Reverting the site to as close to a previous site layout as possible without removing new features.

They'd be celebrated on the day that each redesign took place, so there'd be multiple Nostalgia Days each year for all the different layouts.
Alongside redesigning the site, the front page would be loaded with the most popular flashes of that layout's lifespan. A few days prior to Nostalgia Day, a contest would be held where you must make a retro flash/audio submission which could also make it to the front page.
I think NG should celebrate 420, and promote weed cartoons for a couple days.
