I'm trying to do Panoramix from Asterix's adventures teaching how to make potions to his youger self. Uderso's children style is haaard, but I think I managed to get him to look alike. Now, I need to find hair colors that won't make him look like another character. I'll manage something :) There should be his hut as a background, I mean inside his hut. By the way, I doubt his name is the same in English.... I saw some people call him Getafix.... How well, anyway I think you know who i'm talking about ;)

I know him by the same name. I suggest you add some details like the golden scythe, blue shoes and the red cape to make him easier to identify.

I was afraid this will be full of anime/manga characters but i really love everything shown so far.

Yeah, I think i'll stick with his druid costume, I wasn't sure where to go with it. Also, the scythe will be hanging in front of the chimney. I try to stick to the original hut. Here, I was making the background earlier :) I haven't touched the young one yet. Thanks for the help :)

Here's my sketch (a very basic sketch) of an elderly Daenerys with one of her dragons in the throne room at kings landing. (since in the books she's only a child of 13/14 - so it should count)

**p.s. please dont share spoilers, Ive not finished the first book yet and havent started watching season five of GoT**

Lines for Panoramix, his mini-self and most objects are done. Need to refine them and add the bsckground and after colors. If you see anything that might not work well, tell me. It's the best time since I did not really began the color process.

The background should be the home from the first ever game but Old and abandoned

At 6/2/15 11:50 AM, ProdanDimitrow wrote: Okey so i got my sketch up to a level its understandable. Im looking for feedback too, im not entirely convinced it will work out (both the theme and compostion).

I decided to go dark and emotional so its a bit different compared to most of the given examples, its different for me too.I wasnt even convinced if i wanted to share it or just delete it.

The idea is that this is a kid (jason) running from his abusive(father) to represent a more realistic story of developing such a murderous character.

As i said i know its different and the topic i put up is a serious one, thats why im not entirely convinced whether or not to finish it or just come up with something different.

No. Keep it :) It's a wonderful idea. I don't think you should go back just because the idea is a tad disturbing or darker than most composition. In fact, that is what will give your piece a unique feeling.Though watch out with the typo, the 13 is way too close to the month name. And maybe you could adjust the space between your letter too, it's too cramped :P

Work in progress. From der kleine Vampir (or maybe more well known as The Little Vampire to non-German audiences). It was a lot easier to dig through stuff for kids if you're going for the young --> old swap.

Yes, he is wearing lederhosen. He was on the original book covers. And because all G̶e̶r̶m̶a̶n̶s̶ Bavarians wear lederhosen.

I think I will keep it lineart-ish rather than go full CG.

If doing a character from a show or movie are we allowed to do a 'scene'/still from said movie or tc show? I would be changing quite a bit as far as background and such but, the pose and overall shot will be familiar.

So I couldn't resist the Breaking Bad theme... This is "Playing Bad" ;) Don't know if I'm completely happy with this though, might change things here and there :P
