after looking at a fan game called stella the cat. I was wondering if there's anyway to add fancharacters as playable characters from the sonic the hedgehog franchise. I have an idea for a fan made character and I'm hoping to do the same thing the maker of stella the cat did. Any advice? I have a picture of my fancharacter. its a female cat character named cici. I hope any of you like my idea. any advice would be helpful
i've downloaded it already but the problem its in japanese and i can barely understand what its saying.

Modifying levels and music etc. is a bit more involved, but if all you're doing is replacing Sonic then its an easy venture.
