Think of all the reward. Either money, or just the sense of achievement
Honestly this is the hardest part.
I love learning and implementing cool features but after a while the code base gets big and it just gets much harder to finish.
Key here is to work together with people, when the rewards for coding get smaller (aka your tweaking pixels) you need people to enjoy what your working on and contributing conversations keep me motivated.
