I could never solve these fucking things, very rarely I'll actually get one side done, but that's it. Did anyone here actually solve those things?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?
srsly, those things are for poindexters
Oldskies lmao
What's more annoying, the original or the variants it created?

Any of them!

You can look up how to solve it online if you're really determined.
I did, and I get messed up after doing the white cross.

Couldn't figure out how to solve it so I peeled all the colored stickers off.
That'll show it for making me feel mentally inferior.
... I did that too. Nice to know I'm not the only one.
I could never solve all the sides... I'd get 4~5 but the last couple would always screw me over
I had one of those friends who brought his rubiks cube to school and was all like "watch as I twist it up and solve it again heeheeh I'm smart you guys really!!" and that's the only time I've ever actually seen someone solve one of those things
There are many basic techniques to solve the cube. Some of these have video tutorials online. I know how to solve the cube and can usually do it in about 2 minutes. But that's nothing compared to the advanced techniques that make some people able to solve the cube in about 8-10 seconds, and the world record is something like 5.5 or 6 seconds.
they're neat to toy around with, but solving it can be a drag
i mean with enough time i'm sure i, and anyone else, can get it but still
:)

it's pretty simple actually
i have a friend who can solve one under like 30 seconds
also inb4 dota 2 rubick joke
I hate those things as people I know finish them in a matter of a few minutes.

That's how I learned. I got jealous of too many people around me knowing how to do it haha
I only solved one and it took me weeks, I know people who can solve them in under a minute
I can solve one side, and every now and then I can get two. I think I once got three by complete accident, but I don't know if I ever have again.
I don't think I ever put enough time into it to actually get too close to completing it.

Never did get round to solving it, blasted thing
This is much worse.
my biggest puzzle is the gigaminx, it takes hours to put back together if it breaks so I rarely use it
for software, there's a java applet for solving a 4-dimensional rubiks cube - It's a 3D representation of a 4D object, or a 'hypercube'. There's one side you can't see, but it unveils itself as you make turns. You may be able to solve it after a little while, but they get even crazier - 5D cubes, 6D cubes, etc
The monster of them all is the magic 120 cell. Here it is in its solved state. Good luck with this one, it takes millions of turns to solve and requires scripts to do bulk-turns http://www.gravitation3d.com/magic120cell/
