French/- Canadians

So what's the difference between French Canadians and Canadians. Who's better? Do Americans hate them both as much? Why do people feel the need to distinguish them? Is it like the Afro American think? How can I tell who is French Canadian and who is just Canadian? Am I giving too much attention on that matter? Is there anyone here Canadian or French Canadian? How do they feel about each other?

If you find a frenchmen who just goes about his own buisness and co-habbitates with you bbecause you speak English and tries to show you stuff that he cant communicate easily, those people are super awesome and i work with 4 of them
