I actually got several of my friends into that game too, and the five of us made up approximately 10% of the people who have ever played that game. I used to make mods and cheats for that game too. Good times.
It made more sense in my head.

Back around 1998 (this is really stretching it memory-wise) we had a second-hand computer, pretty much the first we'd had in the family. It was some old DOS machine, I'm sure, and I played some of my first games on that.
1.Duke Nukem
2.Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender (I don't remember any of the adult material, and there was no documentation, so I only knew the game as REX.
3. A rather decent educational game, Midnight Rescue.
I believe one of the first games I ever played on a machine was a little thing called "Bookworm".
