I have only been on NG for a few weeks and I have had the misfortune of witnessing more clock movies than I ever wanted to.

I have no problem with the Clock Crew as a group, however their movies are nothing short of painful. Occasionally the art work is of good quality, but the general bulk of them look thrown together. These movies rarely ever contain creative content, often they are insulting recreations of movies or random pointless violence. The voices of these Clocks are always done with a very primative voice simulator giving them a flat, emotionless feel. A similar problem is incurred by their trademark attribute: the clock face, it shows no attempt to incorporate a uniqueness to their work and denies almost all of the possibility of showing depth within a character.

To reiterate, despite not having any grudge against the Clock Crew as an organization, I feel an overwhelming loathing towards their works for their utter lack of any artistic merit.

Therefore, I will continue to vote 0 on all of the poorly made movies by this crew of fruits and I encourage everyone to follow my example.

I'll agree that i don't like most of the clock's movies, but why in the world should people who make anti clock movies should be banned. I mean there are "strawberry clock" movies that mock other artist. Come on it's not breaking any laws and it's harmless. Besides the clock crew are not angels, why do they expect everyone else to be.

I've viewed most of the Clock Crew and Anti-Clock submissions by now.

Personally, I do like some of the Clock Crew's submissions. Some of the Anti-Clock submissions are very good too. Others should've been deleted.

Lately in reviews some Clocks have been giving each other low scores ( 0 or X ) and appearently there is infighting going on in the Crew itself.

Several members of the Clock Crew have posted they are leaving the Crew for various reasons, including their internet service discontinued, the aformentioned infighting and sheer bordom.

So if it is true that all of the clocks are the same person, then either that person is mentally unstable and about to snap or is creating the infighting to throw people off.

If you want to say all of the clock movies are like Strawberry's B then you need to view the movies sent in by Metal Clock and JewClock. Those are of a much higher calibur than most of the submissions on the entire site.

Obviously movies that are pornographic, malicous, or stolen deserve no better than a blown whistle and movies that had no effort put in them deserve a BLAM.

Seriously, some people get wound up about something they could ignore. Many people go after the VGDC and other people's sprite movies just because they are sprites. Some people vote low because of the person's username or the name of the movie.

I'll bet that some of the Xombie or You Are A F***ing Moron movies got a low score from someone for one of those reasons.

Basically I'm saying judge the movie on its own. I rarely look at the author's username, hence my profile has only Needle under Favorite Flash Artists. Some movies suck, others don't. Don't let the look ( Clocks, Locks, Sprites, AVI ) determine your vote. Let the crappiness of the movie itself determine it.

Clock Crew is crap! I haven't seen a single clock movie that I like so far. They make movies for their own fame. It's like, "Hey... if I make an account name called 'Prune_Clock' then I can make myself sooooo cool by making a whole bunch of [crappy] flash movies all about... me!" God!

I'm not in the Clock Crew, and I have just recently read their letter. But I can say the same thing about their movies. Whenever I see one it makes me want to either cry or throw-up. This long thread has yet to link to either side's flash movies.
Both clock movies are by the same Clock. Both AntiClock movies are by the same author. In both cases, the 2nd movie is a sequel to the first.

These four movies are some of the best I've seen on the Portal.
