The reason Newgrounds has such an appeal is that it's a place where anyone can upload their material. However, unlike Youtube, the community on Newgrounds is small enough that people can actually get recognition on Newgrounds, and gain some sort of a following. From there, they have fans and people that know them and want to see their work, so the appeal of Newgrounds is lost, and they're ready to move onto a bigger audience and a bigger opportunity for making money; Youtube.

To be fair there's much of that not just against Egoraptor but against lots of people. There are people with nothing better to do than to latch on to some particular user(s) just to stalk them around and trash talk them.

It's a shame that some of the more active and vocal members of Newgrounds tend to be asshats.

Plus, Egoraptor is also working a lot on Game Grumps, which is something I couldn't think should be shown on NG.
