I never really went to arcades, but there was this arcade machine inside this takeaway shop I used to go to. I just used to play Streetfighter

This doesn't really count, but there is a pizza restaurant in the town closest to where I live that has some arcade games. They used to have Daytona USA. I played that game like fucking crazy.
I used to go to an arcade named Sandstorm back when I lived in Darude.

None that are still open now, sadly. Probably the coolest arcade I've been to (that's still open) is Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum in Michigan.

The malls around me had some absolutely enormous arcades, but they closed a long time ago. There was a cool-looking arcade right in the center of town, next to the movie theater, but it was shut down by the township, because there was apparently a lot of drug trafficking going on in that arcade. I was never allowed to go there. My town rec center had a pretty tiny arcade, but it had some really great games like Bust-a-Move (Puzzle Bobble). Idk if it's still there.
The only ones I knew of that are still around are the few along the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Typical play-for-tickets arcades with upright machines and Skee-Ball.
The only arcade I ever go to anymore is Barcade in Jersey City. Good beer, cool people, cheap games. None of that $1.50 for a play shit.
There was one I had a few birthdays at called GameZone. I don't remember a single arcade cabinet they had. All I remember was it eventually got remodeled into a bowling alley and a laser tag place then a used car dealership.
We had this really beast one in the mall when I was a kid named "Time Out", They closed however and was replaced by a Chuck E Cheese, faggots. They had some awesome games there too..
Another I frequent is a mix between an arcade and a used game store called "Game Underground" in Framingham MA, it's a really awesome place and is run by some genuinely awesome people.
I only went to "!arcades" near beaches and occasionally in theme parks where they tended to have some, the stupid games you would put pennies into and the machine would push in and out with all these pennies and as much as it was gambling it was an enjoyable experience as a child and a good way to get rid of the encumbering 2 penny pieces you would always end up somehow getting after going to a shop.
We don't have arcades near where I live....
The closest thing to an arcade that I've been to was at a really tiny amusement part type thing.
The ones I went to often in pigeonforge ,tenessee were usually Laserport and Rock and roll raceway.
Went to the Timeout (Namco) arcade at the local mall a lot. Played House of the Dead, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, DDR, and In the Groove 2.
We used to have a place called Burt's Sportsplex that had a whole bunch of arcade machines and bumper cars. There was also the arcade in the mall called the Cyber Station, which I think is still there.
I used to love playing this game with my sister when I was a kid.

I've never seen a full blown arcade at a theater before, but I've seen a couple of cabinets.

Ooh, that's my favorite game! I always win four quarters!
I swear the place was just called "Arcade." My go-to game was always Galaga, because when you let the green spaceship take one of your ships, you could kill it and then you would have TWO SHIPS. AND I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING IN MY LIFE AT THE AGE OF EIGHT.

It was a joke...
-Wonderland/Castle Fun Park (still around)
-Cultus Lake Waterpark (no longer exists)
-Inkameep Campground (haven't been there in over a decade)
-Vancouver International Airport (doesn't exist anymore either)
-Metrotown Centre (haven't been there fore a long time too)
And a few other smaller ones along the way.
A truly prophetic sig...
There was this one in the mall I used to go to for a bit but didn't last all that long sadly.
Nowadays I got Yestercades. Good shit right there

I used to play 2 on my friend's Dreamcast when I was a kid.
Oh the days of the arcade.
The arcade I used to go to was at this awesome little roller rink called "SkateWorld"
They not only had a cool roller rink and really good nachos they had a mini arcade there as well.
They had the classic "The Simpsons" Beat em' Up which is like the only good Simpsons game.
They also had classics like "Pac Man" and "Space Invaders."
Unfortunately the closed down and opened a dentists office there.
A fucking dentist office...
There was a local arcade called nickle nickle. It only had contra type games, light gun games and the obligatory shitty claw games. I wished it had fighting games but to no avail.

Aaah! Don't come!
I HAVE 2 on my Dreamcast. Now if only I knew where the hell I put both it and my Dreamcast.....
There was an arcade called "time out" that resided in a mall I frequented as a child. It got shut down a while back, but a new arcade opened up a few months later.

Ligt gun games do have the best arcade machines, though.

I have HotD 2 and 3 for Wii. They're great ports. Of course I miss that awesome shotgun controller for the Arcade version of HotD 3. I also have HotD Overkill, which is lots of fun, too.
Now I can't go to fucking Chuck E. Cheese's!
