I second this! Your choice of colors is great, too. It's way too common to see extremely saturated color combos on NG. It's nice to see colors that are understated but still interesting.
N7, I feel you on the loss of a hobby thing. I stopped posting on NG for 10 years, and hadn't really drawn anything at all for about 5 of those years. It's nice to be back.

I think the wood texture on the log is interesting, almost like army print.
My favourite is the moon, has a lot of character. Is the poem about the man in the moon by chance?

Sorry for very late response, I was "fighitng" for work ;P Unfortunately I don't remember, it was about 11-12 years ago (damn I'm old xDD). The poems were written by school students and published at some event or competition. Teacher asked me to create small illustrations :P

Recently I tried new programs like Krita, MagicalVoxel and Godot. Since there is more and more talk about violating artists' rights, I decided to start using open source programs. And oh my, things have changed over these -/+ 10 years. Open source programs have changed and, above all, developed a lot. I recommend everyone to try it ;)
Not gonna lie recently I have a blast with Krita, those brushes feels so good nowadays.
Also I'm trying to learn game dev only as a hobby. Unfortunately programming isn't my strong skill so right now I'm learning basics of python and then I'll try my hand at GDScript :D
PS. Probably in the future I'll post some voxel art too :P
