Have you noticed many restaurants say they are the "best ____ in town" or the best in the county. For example, there's this diner in my neighborhood that sells burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes and was closed in 2011 but reopened in 2012 after two people bought it, but still kept the name and concept of the place but slightly altering the menu. They had a video in which one of the owners said "some of my customers tell me that they come up to me and say it's the best burger they've ever had." He also boasted about how, "you're not going to find a better burger in town" in the middle of the video.
Of course I know they are just advertising their product and trying to expose people to the positive feedback they get from their customers, but it is a little odd how multiple restaurants will proclaim that they are the best of a certain type of restaurant, in town. A number of restaurants that sell primarily burgers say "Voted Best Burger in the County" and it is pretty conflicting.
Fuck this, I'm going to stick with fast-food chain restaurants if that's the deal.
