Does NG believe in life beyond Earth?
I do, though my opinions are backed by completely what's likely to be complete bullshit and I know it.

Yes, but it doesn't matter because we consider getting to the moon a big achievement. Kind of like walking to Australia and having a stopping station outside your house. We simply don't have the technology to get anywhere near another system, and we most likely won't see it in our lifetime. Pity.

I'm pretty sure there is other life outside of earth.
I mean really, what is the likeliness that earth has the only life in the ENTIRE universe?

Bet we will in the next 1000 years or so if we don't destroy ourselves.

I mean seriously, less than two hundred years before we learned nuclear fission we didn't even have a proper steam engine.

I believe that the universe is too vast and varied to NOT have some form of life out there. Whether it would be life as we'd recognise it is another matter, but it is out there, as far as I'm concerned.

I view aliens the same way I view unicorns. If I ain't seen it, it don't exist.

It may be a little overly optimistic to think they'll come to us for any reasons other than those that would draw US to THEM.

Well what if they don't know about us, and they're just curious to what they'd find? Crazy shit, mang.

There probably is, but I imagine a planet holding intelligent life is extremely rare, given the conditions necessary for such a thing.

Yes. It seems much more illogical that there wouldn't be life beyond Earth than that there isn't. Humans the only people in a universe with trillions of planets? Yeah right.
