I can see where you're coming from Buoy. Just take note that in my original post I stated that the results are merely generalizations. One can take from them what they will, but in the end it's up to the individual to choose whether or not this is meaningful or meaningless.

However, on saying that, I will also say that it is crucial to not get to caught up in all of this 'typing' business. Some people have tendencies to obsess over the small intricacies of things...especially when it comes to personality. BUT....this is not completely about the 'test' you just took...remember, it's mostly about music! :)

Well, looks like i'm ISTP.

Jeez, people should know this personality quiz/test can be applied for other things, not just music alone. For example, I'm an extrovert guy, but this only reflects on my real life job when I work with tons of people. It doesn't mean I will be comfortable to work with other musicians on the Internet.

Be picky on something just for fun is quite silly.

ISFP I don't have much music up yet, but I almost only do orchestral music on fruity loops. In my band were like post grunge indie funk thing. Its kinda weird. I use a lot of theory when i work (I'm in jazz band so chords and intervals to the maximum)

I wonder how the replies to this thread imply how the artists create their music. Maybe I should look into all the people whining about 48/52 ambiguous results and see if they all make boring music.

Yes, things like that would definitely be more telling than what they get on a Myers-Briggs test
