So today was bath time again for my cats, they get washed every month. I've talked to lots of people about bathing cats and they all said that they don't bath their cats whether they are indoor or outside cats. On top of this I've been told bathing cats isn't normal.
So cat owners and pussy fans alike, do you wash your cats and if so how often? If not, why do you enjoy playing with dirty pussies?

They do, but they accumulate grime in their ears, poop in their paws and claws, dingleberries, and over time you can see the dirt particles in their fur. My cats are a white mix so it's easy to spot when they need to be cleaned.
The earlier you start bathing him the more Bob will become accustomed to baths.

Bathing cats has always been such a chore. Mine are both borderline psychotic, I believe. The one hates baths from me, but loves them from the local groomer. The other loves baths from me, but has been banned from the groomers after biting one of their handlers. I think the lady had to get stitches...
I'll give my cat a shower from time to time but not often. My cat won't go anywhere near a body of water, so the shower makes things possible.
Also, I can't stand to hear him wailing and crying inside the acoustically charged shower, poor thing sounds like he's being tortured.

Yup mine used to do that when they were kittens. Now they just huddle next to me in the shower and meow quietly.
