You have people that love drawing and designing just the right outfit for their characters and spending quite some time on making specifics fit their personalities.
I am not one of those people.
I tend to draw just.. clothes that are always kind of the generic version of a certain type of clothing. But the truth is, good clothing can make a character stand out so much more and really bring it to life. So I thought about starting this thread. For those who want to get better at specifying a character's style through their clothing, want to learn how to draw believable clothes in general or those who just freaking love drawing outfits.
TIPS:
-Everyone is allowed to submit their own character (in underwear or something, not nude) or dress someone else's.
-Modifications of the original drawing are best limited to for instance redrawing feet if they don't match a certain type of shoes, changing hairstyles or removing a couple lines that would otherwise mess with the clothes.
-If you submit a new character, it's best to give it an open pose, those are easier to dress.
-Use references and accessorise! Those make everything waaayyy more believable and detailed.
So! I don't even know if this is an interesting idea, but I'll trust in the good will of Newgrounds (oh dear) and hope people try. Here's the first one! (you can colour her in any way you like of course, or not at all)
