Yeah, I can't really see the appeal either, but the daily rankings aren't so much to do with individual quality as the amount of fans the author has following and auto-voting 5 on anything they submit. Zone is the 22nd most favourited author on Newgrounds, and I didn't see anyone higher up on that list submit anything today.

Exactly, having a fan base means a lot, i see how top animators can upload really bad flash sometimes (not the case of today's feature) i mean stuff like 5 seconds poor meaningless stuff, and still get front page, millions of views, 5's and a trophy.
This does not occur to the average Joe, seems like once you build a fan base (which can be extremely hard) you can do almost whatever you want :D

Yeeeep. I love him and I loved the video, but did Oney's Zoinks! video REALLY deserve frontpage? And honestly, these ZTV movies are just basically ads for Zone-Sama's website. The only time I remember laughing at one of those cartoons was Stampers bit in the 2nd episode. But thats because it was Stamper. Nothing else appealed to me.... echhh. BUT STILL, sort of unrelated but I'm stoked that my little piece of crap made 5th place! Yiiippppp
