Yes exactly, it goes by a variety of names as vacuum flask, vacuum bottle, jug, jar and on. Thermos is a brand name that has become a colloquial name over time. This one is a jug, where you can pour out the drink when pushing a small lever.

Most of the time, they have a "double-walled" (lined?) glass part inside and a metal or plastic part around that.
