Why? She's just a romanticized old slut. And Jack was probably gonna leave her once they came back to shore.

I don't agree, but I'll consider your high opinion of the movie. I cried not just because of what you said, or I might think, but the chemistry, the romance, it was all there. Who'd save somebody from Drowning when you can save yourself? Powerful lessons in that movie ten fold.

Normally I'm not much of a crying kinda guy but that last clip of that video, the one of The Lion King was really sad...

I'd say the best emotional scene ever is the end of the Green Mile. You all who have seen it know what happens. I will admit, I was crying pretty hard when it happened.

Dumb and dumber. I laugh my ass off every time I watch it. My girlfriend doesn't get it. While she's watching it with me, I can't help but laugh so hard she begins to wonder if I'm choking or just mentally retarded.

heh heh that guy just drank piss.

As far as I can remember I haven't cried at a work of fiction since I hit puberty, but Hachi got me pretty close.

Life is Beautiful didn't get that close, but it did touch me.

every damn time...

I've never seen that movie, so seeing it out of context makes it not as sad.

That and the fact that there was a Pop-Tart commercial playing before the video.

I think I only cried to the ending of The Butterfly Effect. I don't know, it was cold, I was lonely, there's an Oasis song in the ending... yeah, shameful D:

I've always liked that ending, I just watched it yesterday actually. For me though, the beginning and end of Saving Private Ryan has always gotten me. First time I watched it, it came as a big surprise that Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) wasn't the Grandpa from the start.

Also, as a side note, I hate how some of you guys posting here just leave some "catchy" line on your link not explaining whatever movie it is you're talking about.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno as well as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are two romantic comedies that I actually really enjoy that touch me on a deeper level.

Nell was the greatest tearjerker movie for me. I cried every time the women dreamed of her sister. Nell is the only movie I like that Jody Foster ever played in.

It's thrilling. Made me wonder for a few days after I watched it, if I'd do the same. And there's a sequel, though I heard it's pretty lame. I'll leave the "magic" of the first one intact ;P

And great reminder, I haven't watched Private Ryan in a good while. I don't really remember the film anymore D:

I'd say the movie Yes Man really gets to me. It's not a sad movie at all, it doesn't make me cry if that's what you meant by "Emotional", but I like the soundtrack, the tone of the movie, the great actors, the message...

I also remember how Click, Up, La vita è bella (Life is beautiful) really got me emotional two.

Life is beautiful was particularly great. I can't stand plain sad, dramatical and sorrowful movies. Movies like Life is beautiful are both extremely funny, and very sad at the same time. The effect is much greater on me that way.

Forrest Gump and Midnight Cowboy. Both are fantastic pieces of cinema.

I could always count on the Lion King to make me cry. Every single time I used watched it the part where Simba falls in love, the tears would start rolling. I don't really understand why I did, but it just happened. Maybe because of the song that played while they were near the waterfall place.

Every time I watch Rorschach die in Watchmen I kind of hope it doesn't play out like that. But it always does. Kramer vs Kramer was a movie that always made me a bit emotional since I saw it for the first time during my parents divorce and it's just a sad movie all around. More recently Warrior managed to shock me with emotion, if you haven't seen it you owe it to yourself to see it.

Any film involving animals really that doesn't end too well. So naturally Disney animated films set me off.

The film that gets me most emotional is Homeward Bound though. And I can't link again atm so here is the link to copy and paste is anyone wants to.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h4hkn_9Be8

I just get so emotional at the end when the animals return but Shadow even there and his owner boy Peter starts to believe that he didn't make it, and then.. oh god its so beautiful and tears tears tears.

Another happy animal ending with Two Brothers. The story of two tigers seperated as cubs and both raised in different ways. One by a family until he got to be too big and the other in a cage trained to fight. They do end up meeting in a ring and the timid family tiger doesn't want to fight and the other one is ready to pounce then after a few swipes they remember each other and they end up playing and biting playfully and its lovely. The crowd goes mad and a riot ensures (I think, not watched it in years), then the brother tigers escape, find their old home and they find their mother who was believed to have died when they got captured as cubs. And oh happy tears again.

Yeah I can't watch films about animals, happy or sad without just bawling my eyes out.

The end of Forrest Gump makes me feel emotional, but in a happy way.
