Seriously, does the BBS have to re-learn the lesson that ever individual is either cool or not, and that sign-up date and all other stats mean nothing?

I never understood why NG members keep caring so much about sign-up dates, they are just the day you registered, it doesn't make you cool.

It really depends on the person. I for one don't care about the sign-up date at all. Some of the worst posters joined years ago so it really doesn't qualify as indicator for any kind of coolness. And some users who joined 2009 or later are pretty cool in my opinion, like POTaTOS for example. Same goes for Falonefal.

Well, it is breast cancer awareness month, so I changed it to fab for October. Since my grandmother had breast cancer and died in 2007, it is a personal thing for me to do. I will go back to light in October.

Oh, you are very cool now Mismo. But not as cool as me who had an account made in 1999, but just as you I forgot the password for it. We share the same destiny of being infact an older user who has to use a newer account. Maybe one day everyone will see our coolness that grew over the years of our long-term membership.
