Wll you are kinda right about my pulpfiction pic, i first used a small underpainting then eyeballed the rest.
This was my first digital painting though i was just trying something out.
But i did not trace any part of my devil pic.
i used a new technic, i learned in art class.
A grid so i could paint everything where it belongs.
i also attached a pic.

But when you reference another person's photo so heavily, Flowers, you should probably say that you have done so when you upload your picture.
Even if it isn't tracing it's still a kind of artistic theft.

See, when people actually use grids. Their pieces line up on where they intersect the grid, but tend to stray (as imperfect humans do) between those points. So when we can clearly see lines right on top of one another we can safely conclude that you've traced it.
Given you're past that's not out of character for you to trace. It's also not out of character to lie about it. And not out of character to steal someone else's image and try to pass it off as your own.
This is a contest. You not only sacrificed your integrity. You cheated. You tried to gain unfair advantage over your friends for money. You owe everyone who entered this contest in good faith an apology.
You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else.

You MUST include "halloween2011" in your tags and you must be scouted.

Could happen any day now, but these things take time. The calendar contest ended THREE weeks ago and people are still waiting to hear who won that ...you're just going to have to be patient.
