That is NOT the reason why. If that is the reason, then why are environmentalist not letting us drill oil? That doesn't make any sense now does it? Also, why do we have to buy it from the Arabs, who are our worst enemies? Oil can't run out because it's infinite. Even if it wasn't, why put us in debt? Why can't we just drill oil and stabilize our economy until we do come up with this "new fuel"?

We have no oil. Texas is almost out of oil, and fucking ruining Alaska for oil that will keep us going a couple more years. I don't care about the environment or global warming, all I'm saying is that we need to be prepared when oil runs out, so we should find better alternatives.

Oil is a limited resource, the solution isn't to drill more, the solution is to find an alternative to oil.
