Pmotw 2- Epic Landscapes

Ok, It's that time again. This time we are making Epic landscapes. Make a wild landscape. I made a pic of Mother Nature Decorating the night sky, So have fun with it.

PMtoWs will Run Fri to the next sat I.E. 6 days. Sometimes I may start it early like this week.
This weeks Theme: Edible Animals.

Rules:
Keep it safe for work.
Must use at least 3 stock images.
Must link each stock Photo.
Do not use already altered pics.
You may post 2 images. The votes stack. I.E. you get a vote on 1 pic and 2 on your second, you have 3 votes.
Notice I'm calling it Photo Manipulation and not Photo Shop Manipulation? Yeah use whatever Photo Manipulation software you have. I myself use GIMP as I can not afford PS.
Unlike previous incarnations voting will have a separate thread.

I went over this. I started over. Clean slate. The old was Photoshop Manipulation of the week, and it died a horrible horrible slow death. Like the Mighty Pheonix it arose from the ashes as the Photo Manipulation of the Week. I know if I was continuing the count this would be #14. But hey, it was my call so I called it. I am as you stated the host :P But if people get REALLY Nostalgic, I will go back to the original count. I figured I'd start over as I made some changes in how it was run. Minor things like the voting thread, and it not being Photoshop specific. Things like that. Also re-reading this it seems snarky, I'm a smiling as I write this. All in good fun. Let me know guys. Your vote, New count or stick with the original count?

This weeks been rough and a holiday week, so I'm extending this week's PMotW till Next Sat. Side note: If no real interest is generated by that time, I will be open to someone else taking over. People seem to want weeklies, but even though it's only been a few days and what happened yesterday, this seems to be following the pattern that killed of this thread the first time. Maybe I just don't pick good subjects. Maybe my starters suck I don't know. People seemed to like the edible animals, but this week lot of views little posting and no participation. I do try and pick peoples brains about good subjects and get little suggestions, so if there's something you would like to see as challenge I'm all ears. Otherwise I try to come up with something interesting. What I did get was flack about resetting the count. I don't want to just let it die, have people ask me to bring it back, join one then let it die... the cycle continues. Sorry if I seem pessimistic, But not the best of days, months really, and it seems to ne following the pattern of death like last time. I know the timings bad and yada yada, maybe I'm jumping the gun and being overly dramatic. If I am, I apologize.

I'm kind of disappointed with how the center point of the picture is, where the fire is fading into the mist. But the main thing is, I look at this picture and I think to myself "water wins" when I was going for more of an even match. I've been playing around with skewing the perspective of the fire to make it look bigger and more of a match but it's not really working out so well. So I think I'll start working on another piece until I can figure out what to do with this one.
