Finished MetalDart and Bbqbeefburgerman (felt good watching through all his flashes again) and now I'm working on Earth-Mage-2000's flashes. And yes, I did go through ALL of Bbqbeefburgerman's flashes over the last 24 hours and I do feel quite exhausted right now. :P

I just realised, what will we do with James Farr's flashes? We're not able to watch any of his movies online due to the DVD but the icons will have to be updated at some point.

I had the impression that they'd remain intact while we get bigger icons for flashes. However, I've not seen a single picture of the upcoming layout so it's hard to guess.

Can't wait to get back to making icons. Almost done with my 90 hr work week. It only happens once a year so i'll be back in full swing Monday. :D

The new site will have new sizings... You could keep your BBS sig or make a wider one. User image will become bigger and then create sized down versions from the big version.

Now that's rather unexpected, although cropped pictures for display pictures makes a lot of sense considering how uploads for art submissions and new icons are done. Just hearing the smallest features for the upcoming redesign only makes me even more excited for when the new layout comes.

It's all good, I'm glad we have a to do list of artists who were mentioned here. It's funny because I had to check through the entire thread to see if anyone I was about to post were mentioned already. All I need to do in the future is refer to this news post.

At this point you can just go ahead and post icons as you make them and not ask for approval. As far as WHAT the icon is, it is good to try to base it on the original icon, although sometimes the larger space allows for a better scene that didn't originally work in 46x46... The big thing is to TRY to get the image that sums up the movie or game best.

Alright then. I'll try to stick to the original as much as possible unless I feel like some other icon might be better.
