Hey guys! i've been wanting to set this up for a while now!
-- the idea is to post on here an .fla from project you've worked on, through doing this we can look and see what different techniques, processes, and methods people are using in their file as they work!--

i've always been interested in how other animators work!

as you can see i work pretty sloppily and lazy haha...(im really trying to polish that up tho!)
so hopfully people wont think this is too weird! i think it could be really cool!

wow ! you've just created the topic i've always dreamt of, since i signed up here, lol.
i mean, seriously. that's sometimes why i try to follow the "collabs making". to see how people works in their FLA files. ;) (even, if i'm just only an occasional flash user)

yeah no problem! I actually went through about 3 systems before getting that working V-Cam. (My first one didn't show rotation, totally ghey)

All of the FBF wasn't as bad as it seems, i did it a lil at a time haha

Its crazy to me seeing alot of people just lightening their rough linework and doing the nice art overtop. Typically I wireframe the bottom layer and onion skin the previous/next drawings, helps me differentiate the roughs from the good versions ya kno?

Am I the only one who does this?

Hey RedHarvest, i noticed in your gambit vid that in the movieclip of gambit standing with his cape n shit blowing in the wind, you hand-looped it like 20 times.. Did you know that movieclips auto-loop themselves (So you only had to make it once) or was there some reason why you did it that way?

haha yeah, mostly cuz back then i was stupid. haha sometimes i get really zoned out when i animate too and just do dumb stuff haha

This is an Amazing Idea, although It would be nice if everyone posted not only a fla, but also a swf preview, and say what flash version they use, It sucks to download a large file just to discover you cant open it D:

What I don't understand is why people don't just post their wip .swf files. Wouldn't that be easier?

Because if they do, the entries might get voted "0" and blammed out of the Portal for being incomplete.

It's a bit more reasonable to dump your WIP in your space and then post a link to it, since now there is a place that it can be done with.

Speaking of which, I have a problem with one of my projects that I've been working on today, and I'd like to know exactly what I've done wrong, if I have done anything wrong, that is.

Yes, the sync is off a bit in a couple parts, and it's not finished to the degree that I want it yet, but I'll show it off.

As far as I've seen, the layer and frames that the Judge is in, only one sprite is displayed, but I KNOW that I've used four different sprites. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong, so I can fix it for submission?
