Dane Cook isn't funny, he just drags out his jokes with such obnoxious enthusiasm and it takes him like 5 minutes to just say his one joke then people laugh cause he's SO FUNNY.
I don't really find either too terribly funny.
My favorite comedian would definitely be Chris Rock. He's one of few to actually make me rofl.
Chappelle is much funnier than Cook, but Chappelle doesn't have much presence when performing standup. He is much funnier in sketch format.
Personally, I'm a Doug Benson fan.

Dane Cook tends to take other people's jokes, Dave Chappelle is at least far more original and funnier. Dave Chapelle no contest.

I am doubting if that is even a legitimate question. I mean, sure, I am not one of those guys who hates Dane Cook, but everyone knows there's a lot of hate towards us and not near the height as Dave Chappelle. Of course, you could say that there is a lot of hate for Chappelle since he lost his show. At least his standup is still great.
